Fallen soldier laid to rest

Amarillo, TX - Friends, family and dozens of people from the community gathered Saturday morning in memory of a fallen soldier from our area.

Genaro Bedoy was honored and remembered before being laid to rest.

Bedoy was only 20 years old when he was killed this past week fighting for our country in Afghanistan.

Patriot Guard Riders and other motorcycle groups from all over the Texas panhandle rode in to show support, they helped with the flag line.

Genaro's father wants to say thank you to everyone who came out and showed support.

There is also a fundraiser for PFC Bedoy and his family: https://www.facebook.com/events/114567852030055/
