Car theft-turned-kidnapping suspect still on the loose

Amarillo, TX - Police are asking for your help locating a kidnapping suspect.

Amarillo police say around 7:30 Monday (Sep. 24), a man stole a copper colored 1998 Toyota RAV4 from the Toot 'n' Totum at Columbine and Amarillo Boulevard.

The vehicle was left running, and a one-month-old child was in the backseat.

Both the child and the vehicle were found at the Rama Motel at 5407 East Amarillo Boulevard.

The child was unharmed.

Surveillance footage from the convenience store shows a 25-35 year-old white male about 6'2'' with a shaved head, wearing a black shirt with a white design on it.
