Drug distribution defendant sentenced in Amarillo

Amarillo, Texas - The last defendant in a meth trafficking case in Amarillo is sentenced in court. The U.S.  Attorney's Office says 38 year old Rodolpho Alcorta, Jr. was sentenced by a Federal judge to serve 200 months in prison.

Alcorta pleaded guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamines and for Aiding and Abetting. He, along with four others have all been sentenced after they attempted to buy over 2,000 grams of meth from an undercover DEA agent in Amarillo back in 2008.
