House Speaker Joe Straus to visit Amarillo

Amarillo - Texas house speaker Joe Straus will visit Amarillo later this month.

This will be his first visit since he became the leader of the 150 member chamber four years ago.

Straus says he is looking forward to the trip because he wants to hear from business and community leaders in West Texas.

He also plans to visit with local leaders about the houses priorities for the next legislative session.
