Texico asks residents to voluntarily cut water usage

New Mexico - Residents in Texico are being asked to voluntarily conserve water while they seek state funding to repair a well.
The Texico Department of Public Works says the city's new watering schedule is working but another working well is needed to accommodate citizens water needs.
City officials say there are foundations of two wells on the south side of town that were never completed.
The Department of Public Works hopes to have those wells working within a year.
