Borger, TX - A man suspected of trying to abduct a Borger girl has been arrested off of a tip.

Borger police credit a prompt response by law enforcement as well as the public's assistance for taking him into custody.

34 year old Gerardo Wall Ham was arrested around 10:00 Wednesday night in the Morse area of Hutchinson County.

He is suspected of trying to grab an eight year old girl for the purpose of kidnapping her at the Walmart in Borger.

He is being held in the Hutchinson County jail on a 75,000 dollar bond.
