Amarillo, TX - A federal employee in Amarillo is arrested after officials say he made threats and had a list of co-workers he wanted to kill.
Peter Madrid is under a U.S. Marshal hold at the Randall County Jail after the FBI says he made statements at work about wanting to shoot and kill his coworkers.
According to a federal affidavit Madrid is arrested for assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers or employees.
Court records show co-workers at the Bureau of Land Management, told an FBI agent that Madrid said he wanted to kill them all when talking about other employees, said if he had a gun he would take people out and also made a statement about the shooter in the mass shooting in Colorado saying quote, "He got them."
Madrid is scheduled for a detention and preliminary hearing in federal court Tuesday morning.
