Three Tucumcari residents charged with sexual assault

Three Tucumcari residents are charged with crimes relating to sexual assault of a child under the age of thirteen.

The Clovis News Journal reports, 31-year old Robert Capen confessed to committing crimes of a sexual nature against an 11-year old girl.

He is charged with multiple counts of criminal sexual contact and enticement of a child.

40-year old Richard Guttierez is also charged with sexual crimes against the same minor.

And 31-year old Brandi Bemis is charged with abuse or neglect of a child.

The three are being held at the Quay County Detention Center.
