Clovis, New Mexico - The creation of a new wind farm for eastern New Mexico was announced Thursday.
Clovis based Broadview Energy says construction will begin in August on an 18-megawatt wind farm in Curry County. This wind farm is the first phase of a 500 megawatt project that will span from Curry County New Mexico into Deaf Smith County in Texas.
The first phase of this plan is expected to be fully operational by November of 2012.
