Tucumcari man arraigned on child porn charges

Albuquerque, New Mexico - A Tucumcari man has pleaded not guilty to allegations that he possessed images of child pornography.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says 65 year old Lawrence Lucero was in an Albuquerque courtroom Thursday morning for the charges. He pleaded not guilty to 3 counts of Receipt of Child Pornography and 2 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

At the time of his arrest, Lucero was a federal contractor doing social work in Rio Arriba County New Mexico.
