Noe Torres extradited to New Mexico

The Clovis man wanted in the murder of a 10 year-old boy, seven years ago is finally returning to New Mexico.

Governor Susana Martinez's office has confirmed that Noe Torres arrived in Albuquerque on July 10th, 2012.

Authorities say Torres was part of a gang that fired several bullets into a Clovis home in September 2005, resulting in the death of Carlos Perez.

Torres was captured in Mexico on January 25th.

He faces three charges including first-degree murder, attempted murder and shooting at an occupied building.

Once Torres is returned to Curry County, district attorney Matt Chandler plans to file a motion to have him moved to a more secure state prison because of his status as a high flight risk.
