Amarillo, TX - Doctors are optimistic about the condition of an area woman who was injured in a motorcycle crash.
As we first told you yesterday, Amarillo Police were called out to the 100 block of West I-40.
Authorities say 21-year old Skyler Goolsby was driving eastbound on his motorcycle when he side-swiped large black barriers, causing him to lose control and skid into the interchange.
Goolsby suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The passenger, 21 year old Tashya Allen, was in life-threatening condition but is improving.
Neither of them were wearing helmets.
We're told alcohol and speed played factors in the crash.
