Amarillo man arrested for intoxicated assault

Amarillo, Texas - A 19 year old Amarillo man is arrested following an early morning accident that sends two people to the hospital.

It happened at 3:00 Friday morning. Amarillo police say 19 year old Jacob William Lee was traveling north on Coulter when he struck another vehicle at 34th street.

A 29 year old passenger in one of the vehicles was transported to the hospital in life threatening condition.
  
Police say alcohol was a factor in the accident. Lee is charged with two counts of Intoxicated Assault and was booked into the Randall County Jail.
