Dalhart murder suspect arrested

Dalhart, Texas - A Dalhart woman is arrested and charged with the murder of her live-in boyfriend.

The Dalhart police department says 32 year old Lenora Pruitt was arrested and booked into the Dallam/Hartley county jail.

Her boyfriend, Cody Freeman was found dead in his apartment on Friday, June 22nd.

An autopsy revealed he was struck in the head with an object and had been there for several days before his body was discovered.

Pruitt remains in the Dallam/Hartley jail on a $250,000.00 bond.

    Four athletes will represent the Panhandle in this year's Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle for the first time in nearly two decades.
