Amarillo, Texas - An incident at Amarillo's Rick Husband International Airport Friday morning led to a few delayed and canceled flights.
Airport officials tell us a Piper Meridian plane was attempting to take off at 8:30 Friday morning when one of the tires blew out, causing it to go off the runway.
Crews were able to get the plane back on the runway and clear it so that air traffic could resume. Two flights were canceled and five were delayed.
Two people were on board the Piper at the time and no one was injured in the incident.
