Snyder woman charged in connection with March kidnapping

Amarillo, TX - A Snyder woman arrested in connection with a missing four year-old Amarillo girl has been formally charged with interference with child custody.

In March of this year, 58 year-old Sherry Short was captured in South Carolina with her grand-daughter Bridgette Sholz.

Sholz was unharmed, and was held by Child Protective Services until she was returned to her parents.

Interference with Child Custody is a state jail felony.
