Aggravated robbery at local cell phone store

Amarillo, TX - Amarillo Police are investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred at a local cell phone store.

Saturday morning officers were called out to the ClearTalk Wireless store on Martin Rd.

When they arrived, an employee reported a black male had walked in and pointed a semi-automatic handgun to her head.

Authorities say the suspect demanded an undisclosed amount of money and led the employee to the store safe.

The suspect fled on foot with the cash.

He is being described as having a thin build, around 6-feet tall, in his mid 20's and wearing a black hoodie.
