An annual event that raises money for the Don Harrington Cancer Center was canceled due to the rain but there's still a chance for you to help.
This would have been the 6th year for 24 Hours in the Canyon but the storm flooded the trails and made them impassable.
The non-profit organization says in years past they have always had over 100-degree weather.
"People are still able to donate. Come Monday or Tuesday we will decide on a re-event or just wait until next year. Our T-shirts and all are still available. We had people today wanting T-shirts, jerseys and things like that," says Brian Quillin, Board of Directors, 24 Hours in the Canyon.
They will be posting on their twitter page any updates regarding the event. http://twitter.com/24inthecanyon
