Detroit to attempt population reshuffle with lighting

Detroit, MI - The city of Detroit's Mayor Dave Bing wants to force the population to condense into a smaller area using streetlights.

Bing's plan is cut the number of streetlights in the city in half and only light the areas where the city wants people to live.

40% of Detroit's streetlights are already broken and the city can't afford to fix them.

The city's population has dropped by 60% since the 1950s.
