Criminal Compaint - Northern District of Texas / Amarillo Division
Dumas, TX- An investigation that lasted nearly two years in Dumas and Borger leaves nine arrested on drug charges.
The U.S. Attorney's office unsealed a criminal complaint Monday saying nine individuals were involved in cocaine distribution out of Dumas and Borger.
Victor Chavez, Carlos Gonzales, Juan Svenningsen, Datra Johnson, Olen Cargill, Cosme Chavez, Sergio Ramirez, Carlos Carrasco, and Jose Orozco were all arrested by the FBI for conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute cocaine.
According to the criminal complaint the investigation began in June 2010 and just recently finished.
Based on evidence the special agents found, they believe the nine were involved in cocaine trafficking.
The complaint signed May 3, shows the agents requested search warrants for six houses, five in Dumas and one in Borger.
The FBI, the Drug Enforcement Agency and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives along with Hutchinson, Potter and Moore County officials all helped with the investigation.
Detention hearings are scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
