Amarillo, TX - An Amarillo man was killed early this morning after police say his truck ran into a tree.
The Amarillo Police Department says just after midnight, George Edison hit a tree at a high rate of speed at a house in the 4400 block of Summit Drive.
Police say he was driving southbound when he left the roadway, hit a mailbox and a tree.
Edison was pronounced dead at the scene.
A toxicology exam has been ordered.
