West Texas A&M Distinguished Lecture Series hosts former President Bill Clinton

Canyon, TX - Former President Bill Clinton visited West Texas A&M University as part of the Distinguished Lecture Series.

His message was finding a solution to the disconnect between what works in the real world and what works on capitol hill.

Clinton agreed to speak at WT after the school made a 100,000 dollar donation to the Flight 93 Memorial.

He said on the 10th anniversary of that crash he met former President George W. Bush in Shanksville, Pennsylvania where the plane went down.

He and Bush agreed to try to get the last 10 million needed for the project as a sign that things can be accomplished if legislators can compromise.
