Fernandez, 3 others sentenced in Borger drug sting

Amarillo, Texas - Four people are sentenced in federal court Tuesday for taking part in an undercover drug sting in Borger.

The U.S. Attorney's office says 43 year old Francisco Villanueva "Frank" Fernandez was sentenced to 100 months in prison, pay a $10,000 dollar fine, and must forfeit $165,000 in cash, a Maserati, a Mercedes-Benz, a Bentley, a camper, a ski boat and trailer, and real estate property in Borger.

David Engler, a co-conspirator with Fernandez, was sentenced to 120 months in federal prison. 27 year old David Escobar was sentenced to 3 years probation and ordered to pay a $2,000 fine. Leonard Scott was sentenced to 145 months in federal prison.
