Canyon, TX - The Canyon Police Department is gearing up for their annual spring cleaning around the city. The intent is to clean up the eye sore of junk and abandoned vehicles.
Starting Monday, the Canyon Police Department will be sticking 72-hour stickers to junked and abandoned vehicles.
The officers are focusing on areas west of 8th Street. The area is slated for upcoming seal-coating maintenance.
The enforcement will continue throughout the spring and summer or until the majority of the violations are addressed.
