ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - An Albuquerque woman is facing charges after authorities said her 2-year-old son tested positive for meth.
KRQE-TV reports that Bernalillo County Sheriff's deputies arrested 21-year-old Victoria Delgado following her son's positive test at Presbyterian Hospital.
According to court records, Delgado was staying at her mother's home in Albuquerque's North Valley after she and her husband had gotten into a fight.
When the children's father picked up the toddler, he saw the boy was sick so he took him to Presbyterian Hospital where the boy tested positive for meth.
Deputies found meth, a stolen car and a gun at Delgado's mother's home and later arrested Delgado at another house.
Delgado is facing child abuse charges.
It was unclear if she had hired an attorney.
