Another winter storm headed for New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Another winter storm could bring more dangerous driving conditions to New Mexico.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Wednesday night through Friday afternoon as a cold system approaches the Four Corners area.

Another round of accumulating snow should begin late Wednesday in the northern mountains before spreading to northern and central New Mexico on Thursday as the high struggles to reach the 20s in some parts.

New Mexico State Police say a head-on collision Monday on U.S. Route 60/84 east of Melrose killed four people and injured two others. The dead were identified as 91-year-old Anthony Jeski and 73-year-old Bessie Kline of Clovis and 53-year-old John Kline and 61-year-old Aminta Kline of Mansfield, Texas.
