CAFB Colonel nominated for promotion by President Obama

Clovis, New Mexico - One Cannon Air Force Base Colonel is among 40 others nominated for a promotion by President Obama.

Colonel Albert Buck Elton II, Commander of the 27th Special Operations Wing in New Mexico had the honors to be among those nominated for the rank of Brigadier General.

In a statement he said "I want to thank the incredible communities of Clovis, Portales and Melrose for their unyielding support.
