Fifth Curry County jail employee facing termination

Clovis, NM - Another Curry County jail employee is facing termination over a jail escape.

The employee is the fifth to face being fired since 35 year old Narcizo Soto Junior escaped last Sunday.

He escaped through an unlocked door at the jail and was recaptured later that night.

A sergeant was fired and three others were served with notice of disciplinary action with the intent to terminate their employment.

County Manager Lance Pyle says all four employees will have hearings next week and he will make the final decision on the disciplinary action.
