Fallout from Curry County inmate escape continues

Clovis, NM - The fallout continues after a dangerous inmate escapes from the Curry County Jail.

At least three more jail employees are on the chopping block after last weekend's incident.

One jail sergeant has already lost his job for what the county manager is calling a "tremendous breech".

Narcizo Soto Jr., a maximum-security inmate, walked out an unlocked door while he was cleaning the administrative office floors.

It is against policy for maximum security inmates to work outside their housing area.

Several high ranking jail officers knew of Soto's cleaning assignment but failed to stop it.
