Kelly Marose is a general assignment reporter for NewsChannel 10.
She joins us from Oklahoma City, where she got her start in television as an intern for KWTV News 9. There, she shadowed reporters, performed in-the-field interviews and later landed a job as an associate producer for the noon, 4, 5 and 6 p.m. newscasts.
Sooner born and Sooner bred, Kelly is a proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma. She graduated last December with a BA in broadcast journalism. While attending Gaylord College, she learned the ropes of broadcast, multimedia and print journalism and spent most of her time working as a one-man-band reporter for its student newscast, OU Nightly.
Kelly loves finding new things to do and spending time with her family, friends and chocolate lab, Emily. She is excited to be in Amarillo and connect with the community. You can contact Kelly with a story idea, or to say hi, at kelly@newschannel10.com. You can also see what she is up to by following her Facebook page, "Kelly Marose KFDA."
