Amarillo, TX - The cause of a range fire that burned east of Amarillo remains under investigation.
The Potter County Sheriff's Office says it began around 3:00 Thursday afternoon near the Tyson plant on Highway 60 near Highland Park.
Crews from Potter County, Amarillo Fire, and Pantex fire department were on hand to help contain the fire.
Nearby structures were threatened, but none were damaged.
