More money for Hispanic serving colleges

Amarillo, TX- Hispanic students will better be able to enhance their education after thousands of dollars are given to area colleges.

The Department of Education awarded Eastern New Mexico University, Mesalands Community College and Amarillo College with more than 600,000 dollars each.

The money is part of the Hispanic-serving institutions program, which provides grants to make college more attainable to Hispanic students.
