Amarillo, TX - Local agronomists have said the rain is not enough to bring back a lot of the dying trees in our area.
All around Amarillo the vegetation has been swept up by the summer heat and drought. With fall on its way, landscapers agree that now is the time to get rid of dead shrubbery.
They have also said that now is the time to fertilize and re-seed with cool season grass.
The best trees to plant in our area include Elm and Oak trees. They are better able to survive extreme weather conditions.
