New walking trail in Clovis

Clovis, NM- A ribbon cutting will be held in Clovis Tuesday to unveil a new walking trail.

Goodwin Lake Trail is located on a popular area of land that many people have been unable to visit.

The 32 acre trail includes four types of trees, dozens of varieties of grass and a natural playa lake.

The Clovis mayor says this area will encourage health and wellness by providing a safe environment to exercise in.

This trail is part of the city's park and recreation master plan.
