Portales, New Mexico - The city of Portales may keep emergency water use restrictions in place through the summer.
All outdoor watering was banned last month but restrictions were eased after the city's tanks refilled.
Customers served by the city's water department have remained on mandatory restrictions that limit when they can water lawns, trees and shrubs.
Two new wells have recently been hooked into the city system.
Two more could soon go online, but officials are still worried about supply.
