Chrysler is recalling more than 11,000 cars and minivans because of potential steering failure.

The recall affects 11 models, including the 2011 Chrysler 200 and the Town and Country, built from mid-April to May of this year.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says a missing or incorrectly installed rivet could cause a loss of steering.

Chrysler says so far, they have received no reports of injuries related to the failure.

The company plans to begin notifying owners in July.
