Sports Minute: Here is the latest Oklahoma sports news from The Associated Press

(AP) - Tulsa's passing game appears to be back on track. The Golden Hurricane opened the season with a 38-31 double-overtime win over Tulane last Thursday. Tulsa struggled throwing the ball last season. But Dane Evans passed for 438 yards in the opener. Tulsa coach Bill Blankenship believes the passing game can succeed again when the team hosts Oklahoma on Saturday.

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma State University defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah has been named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week. Ogbah was a disruptive force for OSU's defense against top-ranked Florida State and logged six tackles, two sacks, two tackles for loss and two pass breakups. Ogbah and the defensive line recorded four tackles for a loss.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Kevin Durant is staying with Nike. Under Armour had reportedly offered the Oklahoma City Thunder star a major deal. Durant said on Twitter that he is "Excited and humbled to sign back with the swoosh!" Durant signed with Nike in 2007. His KD shoes have been popular since the first was released in 2009.

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Oral Roberts University sophomore goalkeeper Ben LaCourse has been named by the Summit League as the men's soccer Defensive Player of the Week. LaCourse recorded five saves and his first shutout of the season in a 1-0 win over Missouri State in double-overtime in the Golden Eagles' regular season opener Monday. ORU will be back in action Friday as they play the first of two contests in south Texas against Houston Baptist.
