Amarillo wildfire damage: updated totals

Amarillo, Texas - The Texas Forest Service says three fires in and around Amarillo have burned over 3,500 acres.

The Forest Service says the Stone Ridge fire that burned on Soncy and Tascosa Road on Sunday evening burned over 1,200 acres.
  
The Crawford Ranch 2 fire in northern Potter County burned more than 2,200 acres.

It began at 6:00pm Monday evening and burned over two counties and was stopped 14 miles southwest of Fritch.
  
The fire in the Tangle Aire subdivision burned less than 500 acres.

The Texas Forest Service says nearly three million acres have burned in Texas this wildfire season, which began on November 15th.
