Cell phone service customer satisfaction

Sprint-Nextel, once dead last among national wireless carriers, now has the happiest subscribers.

The company tied for the number one spot in a recent customer satisfaction poll.

Long time leader Verizon also earned top marks.

AT&T and T-Mobile both slipped in the rankings, with AT&T earning its worst score in five years.

The two carriers agreed to a merger that is expected to close sometime next year.

Experts say the deal could make customers even less happy as satisfaction usually drops after a merger.
