Medications for ADHD do not appear to increase the risk of death from severe heart problems in children.

Researchers followed more than 200,000 kids and found those who take prescriptions for ADHD do not have more cardiovascular problems than other children.

Previous studies suggested there could be a link between the drugs and sudden heart attacks in kids.

An estimated 2.8 million American children ages four to 17 take ADHD medications.
