"Fish Tales" in Texas may soon be illegal

NewsChannel 10

Telling a "fish story" in Texas could soon land you behind bars.

The Texas Senate unanimously passed a bill that would make it illegal to lie about the size, weight or origin of a fish caught during a tournament.

If signed by Governor Rick Perry, the measure will make misrepresentation a misdemeanor or felony, punishable by up to ten years in prison.
