Breastfeeding prevents future behavior problems

Babies who are breast fed are far less likely than formula-fed kids to have behavior problems during childhood.

That's according to a new British study.

The survey of more than 10,000 moms found babies who were given formula were more than twice as likely to have behavior issues by the age of five.

Researchers say one possible reason is breast milk contains certain hormones essential in the development of the brain and central nervous system.
