Apple fixes tracking problems

The major uproar over the revelation that devices are tracking users has led Apple to fix the problem.

The company released a software update that reduces the amount of location data stored on iPhones and iPads.

Previously, the information was stored for about a year, but now the data will only be stored for up to a week.

The software also allows users to delete the location log entirely by turning the "Location Services" feature off.
