Area firefighters fight multiple blazes

AMARILLO, TEXAS - Crews continue monitoring the hot-spots of two fires that burned in the Panhandle Tuesday evening.

One in Oldham county burned between 400 and 500 acres.  Several other fires in Randall, Armstrong, and Swisher county have also been reported.

Over near Happy, another blaze grew to about three miles wide and reached across Castro and Swisher counties. Crews from Lubbock were even called in to help fight that fire. It was put out in about three hours.
