Borger, Texas- Frank Phillips College has appointed a permanent President of the college. The college says their board of regents appointed Dr. Jud Hicks as the replacement for Dr. Herbert Swender who resigned in December.
Hicks has been with Frank Phillips College since 2002 and was appointed the interim president in December. He has a B.B.A. in Accounting from West Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. in Management from Wayland Baptist University and an Ed.D. from Texas Tech University.
Hicks is the second generation in his family to be appointed president. His father, Dr. Andy Hicks, was president of the college from 1981 until 1988.
