Bacteria found in U.S. meat

Almost half of the meat and poultry sold at grocery stores in the U.S. reportedly contains a type of bacteria that can be harmful to humans.

Researchers tested more than 130 packages of chicken, turkey, pork and ground beef purchased in various cities across the country...

And found 47% contained Staph, a common cause of infection.

The study also found more than half of the contaminated samples contained strains of the bacteria that were resistant to most antibiotics.
