Texas guns on campus bill stalls again

NewsChannel 10

Texas - The effort to allow guns on college campuses in Texas has hit another roadblock.

The measure was stalled again in the Senate Monday.

Under Senate rules, 20 senators are needed to agree to debate a bill, but two Democratic Senators have held out from allowing a vote.

One of those senators says he will vote if the bill is changed to allow public universities to chose whether or not they want to allow guns.

The bill's author has said he will not accept such a change.
