Amarillo, TX - The name of the driver hospitalized in a weekend accident on I-40 that shut down the interstate for several hours has been released.
APD says thirty year-old Morris Penalber of Amarillo was involved in the accident early Sunday morning in the 11-thousand block of East I-40.
Reports show Penalber was driving a Dodge Neon West bound in the East bound lanes.
His car hit one semi then careened into another semi. Penalber remains in the hospital with life threatening injuries.
