Amarillo, Texas - A construction project that started some 15 months ago is leaving people in the area with many questions.

Road work on South Georgia from 58th to Farmer's Avenue will include more lanes, new pavement, storm sewers and drainage, all in the name of improving two problems: traffic and flooding.

Many who live and work on South Georgia are beginning to wonder if the project will ever end. It's not just questions that are mounting, it's frustrations.

The closures, the detours, and the mess, are things that some residents just want out of their hair.
