Austin, Texas - Some state lawmakers are trying to eliminate invasive pat-downs at Texas airports.

They say the security procedure cost travelers their dignity and self-respect.

A new bill would outlaw the TSA from conducting intimate searchers, without probable cause.

It would also limit enhanced pat-downs at other screening areas, like the capitol building.

Lawmakers say there is enough bi-partisan support that it will now head to the full house.
